Apparently James Franco, currently on the big screen in such movies as
Tristan and Isolde and
Annapolis, practiced his acting skills while running the drive-in at the prestigious
McDonald’s School for Burger-Flipping and the Performing Arts. After Franco dropped out of UCLA’s acting studies, his parents stopped paying for shit. So in order to make ends meet, he resorted to working a few months at Mickey D’s until his first acting gig came through. But as life handed him lemons, he used them to make lemonade. Or more specifically, as life handed him a wad of shit, he used it to make a Big Mac. Quotes Franco, "I worked the drive-through, and I tried out different accents - Italian, Russian, Irish - and just kind of worked on my acting. I guess that was obnoxious." Yeah, I’d say it was. And I’m sure a ton of Juliard graduates who essentially make less than McDonald’s wages are just pissing themselves at your current good fortune. But hey, let’s just hope his newfound recognition and fame doesn’t keep him from staying down-to-earth. Because if he pulls any diva-like celeb shit, he can now be reminded that he once cleaned the toilets at one of the shittiest jobs in existence.
