Nicole Richie is doing what?!?!
Oh God, no Hollywood. Please don't tell me you put this hack in a movie. What kind of casting director takes a look at someone whose only claim to fame is she's the daughter of a guy who won his last Grammy 20 years ago and whose ex-BFF is the town bicycle? Remember when actors and actresses had to bust their ass waiting tables at the California Pizza Kitchen before they got their big break?
But here's the beauty part. She's been cast as a high-school cheerleader! Boy, you've to have the artistic vision of Mister-fucking-Magoo to see her as ideal for a role like that. Look, I grew up in a small town, and our cheerleaders weren't the best-looking girls; most of them in fact looked pretty rough. Two of them actually admitted to being lesbians after graduation, which I thought was tremendously brave and sexy of them. But every single one of them had muscle tone and could fill out their bloomers nicely. Nicole Richie does not match either one of these criteria.
I might have seen a semblance of star quality in her back when she actually had a little meat on her bones. But now she looks like a bobble-head with a chicken beak for a nose. Seriously, what are these starlets thinking when they drop half their body weight? "You know, I'll just ooze sex appeal if I look more like a cadaver?" I don't know. Maybe I'm looking at it the wrong way. Maybe they're all closet Star Wars freaks, and this is the best way for them to fit in their C-3PO costumes.
